Product Description:
The Hasson technique is a widely-used technique for abdominal puncture. It is distinguished by the use of a special "blunt trocar-cannula" that includes three components: a blunt trocar, a cannula with an adjustable conical sleeve, and suture-holding arms for fixation.
The adjustable cone suture post is located at the distal end of the Cannula, and features suture holders on both sides. A suture is then wrapped and securely fastened to the cone suture post, which in turn secures the cannula to the abdominal wall. Thanks to the blunt, rounded, obturator tip, tissue is gently pushed away while avoiding damage to the abdominal wall during penetration. As such, this technique is suitable for secondary puncture use.
